At the end of the Second World War, economics forced the big bands to trim their once great size and thus, the Jump Blues combo was born. Between 1946-1954, rhythm and blues laid the tracks for what was to become Rock n’ Roll. So how come, 70 years later, this vibrant and influential music is still so unknown to so many?

Nothing But Old 45’s, with your host Larry Kratka, is a radio show that plays classic hits from the 60’s and 70’s with a hint of major artists from the late 50’s and even some early 80’s hits. You’ll hear the best of the best, many one-hit-wonders plus some songs you rarely hear on radio. When you listen to oldies on radio or at home, you can’t help but feel GOOD. You may find yourself singing along with the song, keeping time with the music and remembering.
